Breathing Modes in Rotating Bose-Condensed Gas: An Exact Diagonalization Study

We present an exact diagonalization study of the breathing mode collective excitations for a rotating Bose-Einstein condensate of $N=10$ spinless bosons interacting via repulsive finite-range Gaussian potential and harmonically confined in quasi-two-dimension. The yrast state and the low-lying excited states are variationally obtained in given subspaces of the quantized total angular momentum $L$ employing the beyond lowest Landau level approximation in slowly rotating regime with $0 \le L < 2N$. For a given $L$, the low-energy eigenspectra (bands) are obtained in weakly to moderately interacting regime. Further, for a given interaction, the split in low-lying eigenenergies with increasing $L$ is the precursor to spontaneous symmetry breaking of the axisymmetry associated with the entry of the first vortex. With increase in repulsive interaction, the value of the first breathing mode increases for stable total angular momentum states L=0~\mbox{and}~N, but decreases for intermediate $0<L<N$ metastable states. Purpose of this research is to know about the role of family cope with the pregnant outside of marriage. The problem in this research is how the role of parents as an example figure, supervisory functions of the family, how families cope with pregnant outside of marriage of teens in the village of Sambas Regency to Sekuduk. This research used qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Informants in this study is as much as 5 family. Results of this research is the role of parents as an example figure is to provide religious knowledge, taught dress modestly and do not hit children. Family supervision function is to supervise the child with peers, the spectacle of children, the use of mobile phones as well as limiting the hours of a night out. Penggunaan Fly Ash sebagai Bahan Tambah pada Proses Pembuatan Mortar dengan Bahan Dasar Pasir Apung

Sumber daya alam yang terdapat di Kota Tidore Kepulauan, salah satunya berupa ketersediaan batu apung,yang telah dimanfaatkan untuk membuat bata pres. Di Kota Tidore juga terdapat abu batubara (fly ash) yang berasal dari PLTU yang dapat menggangu Kenyamanan masyrakat sehingga batu bara ini di coba untuk bahan campuran bata semen untuk mengurangi beret semen dalam pembuatan bata semen. Tinjauan pada penelitian ini berupa sifat-sifat mekanis bata batu apung dan tahapan yang dilakukan antara lain : pengujian karakteristik material, perencanaan komposisi campuran 1PC : 4PS, dan variasi limbah batu bara fly ash yang digunakan yaitu 0%, 10%, 20%, 30, 40% dan 50% dengan jumlah sampel 60 buah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah semakin besar bahan tambah fly ash semakin tinggi nilai kuat tekan, untuk bahan tambah fly ash sebagai bahan tambah semen menghasilkan kuat tekan bata 133,88 kg/cm², 150,87 kg/cm², 161,06 kg/cm², 196,40 kg/cm², 243,29 kg/cm², dan 243,29 kg/cm². Kapasitas Lentur Balok Beton dengan Bahan Tambah Abu Vulkanik Gunung Gamalama

Beton merupakan bahan konstruksi yang mempunyai peranan yang semakin luas seiring dengan laju pembangunan saat ini. Dalam pelaksanaan beton di lapangan kadang digunakan bahan tambah (admixture) untuk memperbaiki sifat atau kinerjia beton. Bahan tambah dapat berupa bahan kimia, serat dan bahan buangan non kimia yang dicampurkan dengan perbandingan tertentu. Usaha yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan durabilitas beton melalui penggunaan berbagai jenis bahan tambah seperti fume silica, slag, fly ash ataupun natural pozzolan (volcano ash). Bahan tambah yang digunakan yaitu Abu Vulkanik Gamalam (AVG). Penelitiana ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh AVG terhadap kuat lentur beton. Benda uji yang digunakan adala balok berukuran (15x15x60) cm, Mutu beton K-225 dengan variasi penambahan AVG 20% terhadap berat semen. Pengujian kuat lentur dilakukan pada umur beton 28 hari. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pada beton dengan bahan tambah AVG kuat lentur balok sebesar 38,509 kg/cm², sedangkan untuk beton tanpa campuran Abu Vulkanik Gamalama (AVG) sebesar 29,448 kg/cm² atau terjadi kenaikan kuat lentur sebesar 23,53

Uji Aktivitas Senyawa Turunan Terpenoid, Steroid Dan Fenolik Dari Ekstrak Jaringan Kayu Batang Tumbuhan Ndokulo (Kleinhovia Hospital.) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Sel Kanker (Leukemia P-388)

Research on this activity test aiming to determine the bioactivity and toxicity properties of compounds derived terpenoids, steroids and phenolic heartwood of plant tissue extracts Ndokulo (Kleinhovia hospita L.) on the growth of cancer cells (leukemia P-388). The method used is, sampling plant stem of Ndokulo, preparation, maceration, evaporation, extraction, fractionation, and activity test against Artemia salina and cancer cell. The main Component from n-hexane extract of the heartwood of this plant is β-sitosterol compound. The test against A. salina has the same tendency as the test of murine leukemia cells P-388 so that the primary test to measure the toxicity of the sample A. salina is proportional to the secondary test by measuring sample cytotoxicity against murine leukemia cells P-388. The measurements showed that the extracts have bioactivity against Artemia salina and potentially inhibit cancer cells growth
